The Lanternas Inspiradoras Association began in 2019, in the small town of Mário Campos, Minas Gerais, as a technology and innovation training project for local youth, created by businessman Rodrigo Zazá. Its growth in recent years led to the need for formalization and, therefore, in September 2021, the Associação Lanternas Inspiradoras was created, in line with the objectives of sustainability, multiplication and expansion of the original proposal.

The purpose of Lanternas Inspiradoras is the creation and maintenance of a community of mutual development, common growth, construction and sharing of knowledge, which connects to the concept of systemic prosperity as a guide for its own growth. That conceives the responsibility of each and every one for maintaining life with dignity, sustainability and a culture of peace. It is a project that brings at its heart the search for human emancipation, its enlightenment. “Illuminate the world with each person’s light” is not just a motto or a slogan, it is a conception of life, of insertion in the world, of relationships with others.

Starting from a free school, the project offers a multiple and long-lasting training experience. Multiple for mobilizing knowledge linked to various areas of human development: technical, philosophical-spiritual, cultural and sporting. Long-standing for linking professional training to the job market, from an organic and functional perspective. From initial learning to the use of the coworking space, roles change, alternate and complement each other, connecting the best in each person with the demands of building a more fair, egalitarian and sustainable world.
